Who We Are
DFP Super Fund Audit (DFP) is a locally owned and operated boutique SMSF audit business. The firm’s principal, David Pozzecco, is an Australian Chartered Accountant with more than 27 years auditing experience. David is an accredited SMSF Specialist Auditor™ with the SMSF Association, and an ASIC registered SMSF auditor. All audit work is performed in our Sydney office with no offshoring of audit work.
Independent Services
Because we specialise only in SMSF audits, we can provide a fully independent audit service that ensures we meet the independence requirements of APES 110 Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants and ASIC registered auditors. Our work is performed in a timely manner at competitive rates.
Client Support
We value our client relationships and are committed to servicing your needs throughout the year, not just at audit time. We offer technical support over the phone or in person to answer any potential SMSF audit issues (financial and/or compliance) that you may have during the year.
We have access to the ATO’s professional-to-professional support service, Super P2P. This service provides us with direct contact to ATO technical officers for advice on complex SMSF issues and requirements.
We are flexible in meeting the needs of our clients: Our audit services can be provided at client premises or by sending audit documentation in hardcopy or electronic form to our office. We also utilise a secure cloud storage system for our clients: This enables clients to securely upload audit documentation at the inception of the audit and during the audit process. Audit deliverables can be uploaded at the completion of the audit.
Professional Development
At DFP, professional development is very important and is an area that we seek to differentiate ourselves from other SMSF auditors. We invest in continuing professional development at SMSF training courses, seminars and conferences offered by: Chartered Accountants (Australia & New Zealand), the SMSF Association, SuperConcepts, the ATO and Townsends Lawyers, amongst others. Keeping up to date with changing superannuation legislation, auditing and accounting standards, ensures that we are familiar with current developments in the SMSF sector that may impact our clients.
